IC Secret Santa Sign-Up

IC SECRET SANTA SIGN-UP

Hey guys! While the official plotting post for December will be going up the 28th, this is a plot element that requires a little extra planning!

During December as part of the holiday season, Zodiac will be holding a IC Secret Santa among Libra app users as a PR stunt. While ICly, these secret santa sign ups will be compulsory for the characters, OOCly for players this is completely voluntary! Basically you're signing up your character to get assigned a secret santa by Zodiac. The IC justification is that they were randomly selected for this program.

Sign ups will be open until November 27th @ 6pm EST. After that, the secret santa assignments will be decided via mostly RNG done by the mod team. From there, it's up to you to decide what gift your character will get their secret santa receiver. You can thread out the gift exchange or drop them a note in their IC inbox about their gift (or on the gift giving meme that'll be going up later)!

Should a character fail to give a secret santa gift:

If it was ICly intentional: If the character would INTENTIONALLY skip out on secret santa, please let us know during sign-ups. We will make sure they are either assigned to someone with the same Scrooge mindset, or the character meant to get a gift from them will get a gift from Zodiac instead. They will then get a temporary curse for the month of January that'll be decided by the mods and the player.

If it WASN'T cleared ahead of time: If you sign up, proceed to fail to give your secret santa a gift by January 1st without communicating to the mods about it ahead of time (aka, please contact us if something comes up that makes you unable to follow through), then your character will be docked four regain points. Meanwhile their intended gift receiver will then get a gift from Zodiac. Basically, we only want people signing up if they fully intend to follow through, because it's not fun for other people when their character doesn't get any gifts.

Greetings. Guardian Hoshimi Miyabi, reporting to Kaisou as instructed. I was told that a junior Guardian by the name of Jon would explain what has happened in my absence. I'm aware there was a recent, uh, restructuring, so we can skip that part.

Is this the new Black Order headquarters? It looks like a mall to me. There are children playing in the parking lot. Unless... maybe I took a wrong turn?

Good evening users of the Libra app. I am here tonight to tell you of the grand reopening of the Chateau De Minuit casino. Now under new management, aka Cifera, aka me.

Now I know you are surely asking yourself, “Cifera, why should I visit your casino in particular instead of a competitor?”. Well I’m glad you asked dear guest. Our venue is home to all sorts of games of chance and skill. Everything from poker, baccarat, Pai Gow, and even French Tarot tournaments.

[As she lists off the various games she pulls out the cards and tiles they are played with. Where she was keeping them is a mystery]

And in celebration of our reopening happening during the month of Thanksgiving, we will be holding a themed party the weekend after the holiday. Alex and Jules both reminded me that I haven't done this yet so: two things! First, if you're an isekai or, uh, suddenly stuck with shit like tails or wings or something that fucks up your wardrobe, I'll make you a new outfit or two for free or just alter some of your existing stuff. I don't do denim, so you're on your own for jeans, and I don't do leather. Do know someone who can do denim, though, if you're desperate.

Second: so I can't cook for fewer than like, six. Alexandre is pretty much the same, I'm just worse about it. Anyone who wants to come over the Friday after Thanksgiving for Thanksgiving Round Two: Fuck Black Friday, just tell me your spice tolerance because I was raised by two women who look at spice warnings and laugh.
